From the Artist...
Painting has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Curiosity has always been my greatest creative tool, leading me to explore everything from vibrant Pittsburgh cityscapes and ocean horizons to figurative, sensual, and erotic work. Whether I'm painting a quiet landscape or an intimate shibari scene, I'm drawn to moments that invite viewers to slow down, feel something, and look a little closer.
Art has always been a journey of exploration for me—a way to delve into the depths of human experience, emotion, desire, and the ever-changing world around us. My work is driven by an insatiable curiosity and a love of visual storytelling. I often strive to capture fleeting moments through color, texture, and movement, creating space for contemplation, conversation, and personal interpretation.
Much of my figurative work explores intimacy, vulnerability, sensuality, and kink—not simply as subjects of sexuality, but as expressions of trust, power, identity, and human connection. I believe art has the ability to challenge perspectives, evoke emotion, and deepen our understanding of ourselves and one another.
And sometimes, I paint simply because something is beautiful, scenic, strange, or impossible to ignore. In an overly complicated world, I believe there's value in creating just because something moves you. Sometimes, that's exactly what the soul needs.
Alongside my studio practice, I've taught art in museum camps, pre-college intensives, community workshops, and after-school programs. These experiences continually reinforce my belief that creativity belongs to everyone, regardless of age or experience.
Today, my practice includes original paintings, murals, commissions, and creative collaborations. Whether creating a public mural, a custom landscape, or an intimate figurative piece, my goal remains the same: to make work that is honest, thoughtful, and deeply human.
